It's been a while since my last post. Life in Singapore had been real busy... Gotta cope with the new environment and the way they do things there.
When I reached my hostel, I was quite impressed with the hostel. The key for the room is a card and you gotta use this card in order to gain access to your room, toilet, laundry room, tv lounge and others as well. Singapore toilet are indeed very clean. They even got water heater in the shower room. The air-conditioned TV lounge got a 42" Sony Bravia TV. I was like "WOW"! Well, all these new stuff were probably due to the Youth Olympic Game that was held in 2010 and they gotta renovate them nicely to maintain the image or Singapore. Boy, I was lucky to live in new hall. The internet is damn bloody fast and you will never have to wait for vids in YouTube to buffer.
About their university system, initially I am confused bout it. In UTAR, Bachelor of XXX in XXX is called a course and Calculus I all those they called subject whereas in NTU, Bachelor of XXX in XXX is called a program and Calculus I all those they called courses. In most universities in Malaysia they used credit hours and in NTU they used a system called academic unit(AU) which is pretty much similar.

I've joined MSA FOC 2011/2012 and I was allocated to the OG (orientation group) called Ophion. Get to know a lot of new friends and buddies here in Singapore. A lot of thing happened here in Singapore and it's already been a year since I got into NTU.

MSA FOC 2012/2013 where I was one of the GL(group leader) for the OG called Sagitta a.k.a. Yamgitta! LOL! because we got the rudest cheer but the best cheers among all the other camps I've joined like FOC outing (OG called BO JIO) and Senior Camp with OG called UNICORN! Although we lost a lot of games in the camp but we are the most bonded senior camp OG! With the iconic cheer of UNICORN SPIRITTT!!!!!! Nguiuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (sound of a horse)!!!!!!!!! LOL!

This is the event called Merdeka Night 2012 Back to 70's where I was one of the actor and emcees of the night! Yea! A lot of 1st times in NTU. 1st time as dancers, as emcees, as actor etc.

1st time in Universal Studios too! and this was during May-June 2012 where my buddy's friends from Ipoh! Well, it is quite worth it to go and the transformer ride was awesome! Totally!

I really enjoyed year 1 and the life here. Although it's a little bit too busy but fulfilling. Of course, I will still miss my friends and buddies and of course my family back in Msia but work hinders me from goin back. I guess I wont be having much opportunity to go back to KL this academic year. It seems that year 2 aint something to be trifled with! Gotta work hard to get better results and better performance for my club! I got my fingers crossed! Hope for the best! ^.^V
